FastMoss vs Kalodata: Which One to Pick in 2026

Sacha JibrilBy Sacha Jibril€1,000,000 in TikTok Shop GMVUpdated July 28, 2026

FastMoss and Kalodata are the two most cited TikTok Shop analytics tools, and they resemble each other far more than the comparisons usually admit. Here is what actually separates them, with both pricing grids as we found them on July 25, 2026, and the question neither one answers: who builds your carousel?

Facts checked on July 25, 2026 and subject to change without notice. Both analytics tools bill in dollars; Carouscale bills in euros through Stripe, and €29 was about $32 at the rate that day. Plan limits are as each vendor states them, not something we stress-tested.

Both pricing grids on July 25, 2026

The first concrete difference has nothing to do with features. It is transparency. FastMoss publishes its grid on its own site, plan limits included. Kalodata's grid no longer loads without an account: on July 25, 2026, kalodata.com/pricing led to a sign-up form.

FastMoss (public grid, verified)

Kalodata (grid not public)

  • Starterabout $46 to $50/month, reported
  • Professionalabout $110/month, reported
  • Enterpriseon quote

FastMoss: official page, July 25, 2026. Kalodata: reported range, official grid not public that day. Carouscale bills in euros, converted here at about $1.1 per euro so the bars compare like with like, and €29 is our month-to-month rate while FastMoss is quoted at its cheaper annual rate.

One detail worth pulling out of the FastMoss grid: what separates its tiers is mostly volume and history. Basic gives 90 days of history, 150 detailed lookups a day and the top 300 of each ranking; Pro moves to 180 days, 300 lookups and the top 1,000; Ultimate goes to 1,200 days with unlimited lookups. If you are choosing between them, pick on how far back you need to look, not on the feature names. The full grid is broken down on our FastMoss pricing and alternative page.

How we read the matchup

Strip away the branding and these two do the same job: dashboards of global TikTok Shop data, billed in dollars, aimed at people who are comfortable in spreadsheets. Both are legitimate at it, and both cover the catalog far more broadly than we do. If you are only picking between the two, here is how we would weigh it.

Pick FastMoss if you want to know exactly what you are buying before you buy it: the grid is public, the limits are written down, and you can size the plan against your real usage. Just remember the 7-day trial renews automatically, so put a reminder in your calendar. Pick Kalodata if its dataset is what your workflow already runs on, and accept that you have to create an account to see a price. Our full Kalodata review goes deeper on that trade-off, rating included.

They share the same blind spot, and it is bigger than the gap between them. Once the product is found, you still have to design the carousel, write the hook, produce the slides and export them at the right size. That is where most sellers stall, not at the research stage. Paying $47 or $110 a month does not move you one slide closer to a post.

The third option: start from the carousel, not the table

Carouscale approaches the same market from the opposite side. Its Trends page indexes the TikTok Shop photo carousels that cleared 5,000 views across 6 markets (US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy), each with its stats and the product it was selling. You read what sold and how it was sold in the same view, instead of inferring the second from a sales table.

From there, Replicate rebuilds the format with your own product photo: slides written for you, copy baked into the image, product never redrawn, plus a title, a description and hashtags. Pricing is public in euros, €29 a month for Creator with 250 credits and Trends for your home market, €49 for Pro with 800 credits plus France, Germany, Spain and Italy, €149 for Agency with 3,000 credits plus the US and the UK, and 20% off on yearly billing. Note what that means: if the US is not your home market, US Trends is on the top plan. The detail sits on the pricing page.

Now the part that costs us something to write. On data, both of these tools beat us, and by a distance. They cover TikTok Shop markets worldwide where we track six. They estimate sales per product, rank shops and creators, and keep months or years of history. We do none of that. Carouscale indexes one narrow slice, public photo carousels above 5,000 views with the product each one sold, and that slice is chosen for producing content, not for sourcing decisions. If sourcing is your job, buy FastMoss or Kalodata and stop reading here. The case for us starts only when your problem is that nothing gets posted.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper, FastMoss or Kalodata?
Based on our July 25, 2026 check, FastMoss starts at $47 a month on annual billing, which is $558 charged up front, and the grid is public. Kalodata no longer shows its grid without an account; third-party 2026 comparisons report a Starter plan around $46 to $50 a month and a Professional plan around $110. On paper the entry tiers are close. The difference is that you can verify one before paying and not the other.
Does Kalodata publish its pricing?
No. On July 25, 2026, kalodata.com/pricing sent us to a sign-up form instead of a plan table. FastMoss publishes its grid openly. That matters when the decision is a subscription that runs past $500 a year.
Can you build carousels with FastMoss or Kalodata?
No. Both are TikTok Shop analytics platforms: they help you find products, creators and trends, and they stop there. Neither writes a hook, lays out a slide or exports an image. To go from a product you found to a carousel you can post, you need a production tool on top.
Which one should a TikTok Shop affiliate pick?
If you want raw research and nothing else, either works and FastMoss wins on transparency, since you see the plan limits before you pay. But most affiliates are not blocked on research. They are blocked on producing enough posts, and neither tool touches that problem.
Is there a tool that covers research and production?
Carouscale is built for that path. Trends shows the TikTok Shop carousels that cleared 5,000 views across 6 markets (US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy) with the linked product, then the AI rebuilds a winning format with your own product photo, copy baked into the image. Plans start at €29 a month and your first replication is free at sign-up, no credit card.
