Privacy Policy

Carouscale takes the protection of your personal data seriously and processes it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data controller is the entity identified in the legal notice.

1. Data we collect

Account data: email address, optional display name. Preferences: followed niches, region, alert settings. Usage data: favorites, generation history, credit movements, technical logs. Payment data: handled directly by our provider Stripe; we never receive or store card numbers.

2. Purposes & legal bases

Providing the Service and managing your account (performance of the contract); billing and fraud prevention (legal obligation and legitimate interest); sending service emails and, if you enable them, alerts (performance of the contract / consent); improving and securing the Service (legitimate interest).

3. Processors & recipients

We rely on providers acting on our behalf: Supabase (authentication, database and storage, hosted in the European Union), Vercel (web hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (emails), and generative AI providers (creation of the visuals). We never sell your data.

4. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms. Generation inputs (product link, brief, product image) are sent to the AI provider for the time needed to produce the visuals.

5. Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. After deletion of your account, it is erased or anonymized, subject to statutory retention periods (in particular accounting and tax obligations).

6. Cookies

Carouscale only uses cookies and storage strictly necessary for the Service to work (authentication session, preferences). No advertising or third-party tracking cookie is set.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To export or delete your data, write to contact@carouscale.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).
